Park View Riding School Easter Program 2016
Friday 25th March – Good Friday Dressage Competition.
This is for any rider who can walk, trot and canter competently off the lead rein. Each rider will perform a set dressage test in front of the judge. There is a separate leaflet available about this competition, if you are interested please talk to your instructor and collect a leaflet from the shop.
Saturday 26th March
– Lessons as Normal.
Sunday 27th March
– Easter Sunday – CLOSED
Monday 28th March
– Easter Monday – CLOSED
Tuesday 29th March – Pony Care Day with Egg Hunt.
This is for children age 5yrs and over of any riding ability from complete beginners to advanced. The day will start at 9am and finish at 4pm. All children will have a group lesson in the morning with riders of similar ability and then will take part in some fun Easter themed gymkhana games in the afternoon. When we are not on the ponies there will be lots of pony care activities to do, such as; grooming, mucking out, tack cleaning, bathing and plaiting the ponies! We also choose a topic for the day from our pony club syllabus e.g. points of the pony, parts of the saddle/ bridle and we learn all about it using work sheets and practical session’s .And don’t forget an egg hunt to finish the day! The cost of the day is £35, or you can do half day 9-12/1-4 £25, pony club members full day £30.
Wednesday 30th March – Pony Care Day with Egg Hunt.

Thursday 31st March – Pony Care Day with Egg Hunt.

Friday 1st April – Fun Friday!!
Fun Fridays are for children who can competently walk, trot and starting to canter. Activities will be chosen depending on weather and standard of riding. Things we will include on Fun Fridays are; jumping lessons and competitions, canter practice, hacking, gymkhanas, show days. There will be lots of rosettes and fun to be had. The day will start at 9am and finish at 4pm, £35 for the day £30 for pony club members.
Saturday 2nd April and Sunday 3rd April
– Hacks and lessons as normal.
Monday 4th April – Hacks and Private Lessons Available All Day.
Private lessons available throughout the day, ½ hr £20 1hr £35. Hacks also available, 1hr group hacks £25 per adult £22 per child. Please call for available slots.

This is for children who can already competently walk and trot off the lead rein and are starting to canter. During the morning each rider will have a lesson with children of similar ability working on canter. Then in the afternoon each rider will be taken out in small groups for a hack off road with the opportunity to canter in the fields. When we are not on the ponies we will be taking part in lots of practical activities around the yard. The day is 9am-4pm, the cost is £35 or £30 for pony club members.
